Acrylic Construction Acryliteš Acrylic plastic sheet is completely transparent, rigid, and exhibits great resistance to breakage. Acrylic is excellent material to use for housing your pets. It is lightweight, half the weight of glass, and it is virtually unaffected by nature. It can withstand temperatures up to to 180° F (intermittent to 200° F). Scratches can easily be buffed out with Novus plastic polish and a clean soft cloth.

Lockable Hasps Every cage comes with a lockable hasp or two. No one wants a free-range tarantula in their home. Even if the hasp is not locked, it will stop your pet from prying its way out. These also keep out other things such as cats, children and trade show patrons.

Screen Vents Venting and humidity control is a vital part of keeping tarantulas. If your species requires a humid environment, it is wise to have a little less ventilation to keep the humidity up. For dryer species, more ventilation is necessary. The screen vents are made of aluminum and come in 2" and 1.5" diameters. The screen is cricket proof, so they won't chew their way out.

Hinged Doors Tired of those cages that snap shut and startle your pet spider? With a hinged door you can open and close the door without snapping or sliding it shut, allowing your tarantulas to live in undisturbed comfort.
